Bass & Blues Tournament for the Troops
Thank
you to everyone who contributed to making the 3rd annual NSAC
Tournament for the Troops a great success! Because
of your generosity we have been able to make a donation in excess of $5,000.00
to the Wounded Warrior Project. This
year’s donation will go directly towards sending 25 combat wounded veterans to
the WWP's 5th Annual "Soldier Ride,
Sunshine
State
" which takes place from January 13th-17th, 2010. This event is a 3 day,
first class, all expenses paid bicycle tour from
Miami
to
Key West
. About half of the injured soldiers
participating in the ride will be from the
Walter
Reed
Army
Medical
Center
. For some, this will be their first
trip outside of a hospital since being injured.
